Data controller

KAYAVI Conciergerie, Douala, Cameroon, is the controller for the processing described below. Any question or request about your data can be sent to info@kayaviinc.com.

What you send us

When you fill in the contact form or the guided request, we record:

• your name and email address, which we need in order to reply;
• your phone number, if you choose to give one;
• the service you are asking about and your answers to the guided questions;
• the message you write;
• the language you are browsing in, so that we reply in it;
• your IP address, stored with the request for security and to deter automated submissions.

Why we collect it

This data serves only to handle your request, prepare our conversation and, where relevant, draw up the proposal that suits you. It constitutes pre-contractual steps taken at your request. We do not use it for unsolicited marketing, and we make no automated decisions.

How long we keep it

Contact requests are kept for three years from our last exchange, then deleted. Where a contract follows, the related documents are kept for as long as the applicable accounting and tax obligations require.

Who can see your data

Your data is never sold, transferred or exchanged. It is accessible to:

• the KAYAVI team, only as far as their work requires;
• the site’s host, which stores the database;
• our email provider, through which the notification of your request passes.

Audience measurement and cookies

No measurement cookie is set before you agree. The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept or decline with equal ease; declining has no effect on your browsing, and you can change your mind at any time through the “Manage cookies” link in the footer.

If you accept, two tools are enabled: Google Analytics 4, which measures traffic, and the Meta pixel with its Conversions API, which tells us which advertisements bring in requests. The cookies involved are “_ga” for Google and “_fbp” and “_fbc” for Meta. A “kayavi_consent” cookie remembers your choice for six months; it exists solely to honour that choice and is never used for anything else.

Both providers are established in the United States. The corresponding transfers rely on the safeguards provided for by European regulation. If you decline, no data reaches them — neither from your browser nor from our server.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to the database and to the mailbox is restricted and password-protected. The form is shielded from automated submissions by a hidden trap field rather than a third-party CAPTCHA service — which spares your browsing from one more operator.

Your rights

At any time you may ask for access to your data, its correction or erasure, the restriction of its processing, or object to that processing. You may also ask to receive it in a machine-readable format. Write to info@kayaviinc.com: we reply within one month.

Complaints

If you live in the European Union and believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
